올해 10주년을 맞은 GYSS는 전세계 1700 여 명이 넘는 등록과 신청을 받아 매우 높은 경쟁률을 보였다. 해당 GYSS 선정자는 서울시립대학교 생명과학과의 BK21 참여대학원생인 정원영, 권혜련 박사과정 학생 (지도교수: 조익훈) 으로 오는 22년 1월에 GYSS에 참여하게 된다.
